September 15, 2018 By Jaima Leave a Comment

Decorate with Palm Leaves

Hello there! You want to decorate with fresh colors and nature inspired Palm Leaf patterns? Tropical palm leaves can be used in any decor because they have a natural feel to them and are easy to pair with other prints.    Want a decor that has a fresh look  with lots of color,  just take  a look at our collections. Nature has a huge influence on our wallpaper and fabric designs hence our palm frond fabric. This designer fabric was  hand painted from a real palm leaf from my garden.  Inspired right from our garden into your home.

This fabric looks great made into draperies, bedding and pillows for a clean interior style. Mix the leaves with a Greek Key print an you instantly get a graphic yet modern traditional look. Customers often mix our patterns and fabrics from one collection with another.

We make decorating easy so you can create an amazing interior.  You can make a designer statement using our fresh clean designs.  Fabric and wallpaper from Chelsea Lane Collection by Jaima Brown Home.

Get floored!

November 22, 2012 By Jaima Leave a Comment

In the mood for making a statement with your upcoming redecorating project?  You have my full support… “go bold or go home,” is my motto when it comes to design.  Resofloors from Resopal may just be your new best friend.  Super glossy and surprisingly durable, these high-design floors live up to any contemporary-lover’s décor fantasy.  They are made of compressed fiberboard and are resistant to scrubbing, scratching and all those other things that come with general wear. They are vailable in a plethora of colors and styles to satisfy all of your design whimsy. Wouldn’t that number on the right have been perfect for my Faux Bois post a couple weeks back?!

What’s Old is New Again

October 18, 2012 By Jaima Leave a Comment

This week’s home post begs the question, “What do you have that you used to love, no longer love, but think you could love again?” Hard economic and environmental times alike, begs us to ask ourselves, “how can we make the most of what we already have?” It’s a great time to do a little fall cleaning, and take a look at everything dumped into your “toss” pile.  With a little creativity, ingenuity, and craftiness, you can turn something dull into something modern and inspirational.  Everywhere from DIY blogs, to your favorite local restaurant or furniture store can serve as inspiration.  Some of my fave reclaimed, recycled, upcycled – or whatever you want to call it –pieces are below.  Consider yourself challenged.

Shelf It

My philosophy when it comes to interior design is that it’s all in the details.  So, when you find that you’ve laid out all of the pieces of significant size and substance in a room and you can’t quite put your finger on what’s missing, that’s where to look.  It is in those details that you can add your personal flair and turn a house into your home.
