Weekly Refresh:  It’s All In The Details

Don’t wait for your significant other to spoil you on a special occasion, treat yourself to some beautiful flora to lighten you and your home up.  Sure, splurging for a custom arrangement can be pricey to maintain, but there are some great ways to add that extra luxe-ness that fresh flowers bring to your home on the cheap.  My M.O. is to buy great flowers, but single stems and use simple vases that support them.  A King Protea, for example, is hearty and makes quite the statement on its own and can be had for under $15.  Others include orchids like below or simple roses. Trust me, maintaining this detail in your home can far outweigh the bigger investment in a décor item.
