If stars and stripes aren’t your thing, wear your spirit a little less loud and proud.  A solid red or blue open-knit sweater (or tank as may be dictated by the sweltering heat most of us are facing!) does the job nearly as well.  I still, however, think you need some form of flag tribute.  A small one tied as a headband will do the trick.  Happy 4th!
