Last week in Miami Florida I was attending Design Week at DCOTA and was fortunate enough to meet up with famous interior designer Mario Buatta. For many years I have followed this talented designer who was known in the industry as “The Prince of Chintz”.
Mario created one of a kind interiors. He was never afraid to use brilliant colors and prints. It was this love of English design blended with American color that set his style apart from others. Mario truly was the Prince of chintz as he was always known for creating spaces with bold colors and floral prints.
Thanks for inspiring us over 50 years in design. Cheers!
