Pattern of the Week: Mod Watercolor Flowers

May 19, 2014 By Jaima Leave a Comment

I just came back from the International Contemporary Furniture Fare and  Surtex show in New York.   There were definitely  modern influences etching into traditional prints and furniture.

Several washed out, blurred, water colored  floral’s were just one of my favorite finds. Love this artful technique  as its  hip, fresh, young and stylish. From dresses to Moissonnier sofa’s, this look is fabulous whether you wear it or sit on it. Blend in  some graphic lines  like artist  Margaret Bergart , did with her painterly floral print and WHAM…a soft yet modern look is designed.  Don’t you love it?
