This Northbrook townhouse in Illinois was a fun project to work on. We totally changed the interior as it hadn’t been touched in over 20 years. You can see how their was a wall dividing the bathroom sink and mirror from the toilet and shower. We tore that out, added in a nice tiled master shower, new flooring and new cabinets. A TV hides in the cabinet. I love the shrimp colored marble base for the counter …very different color and elegant at the same time. There was very little lighting. I am big on lighting as dimmers are nice for ambient light but they are also great if you like to keep some low lighting on during the night. We added a great wallpaper which was a printed faux paper weave so the walls look textural but subtle. Plus it won’t get moldy as it is not a real grass cloth. Using existing art and furnishings, it was easy to finish off the room. Of course, the clients had lots of carpets and pictures to source from. Looks great now that it has our designers touch!
